The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team

In most organizations, nothing gets done without people working together to achieve shared goals. But far too often the very practice of teamwork can be painful. Why? Because teams give way to infighting, gossip, and politics. High-functioning teams break this mold by dedicating time and effort to embracing a healthier set of behaviors.

Research shows that highly cohesive teams consistently outperform other groups of people because they...

  • Make better, faster decisions
  • Tap into the skills and opinions of all members
  • Avoid wasting energy on politics and destructive conflict
  • Have more fun while being more productive

So how does a "normal" team become a highly cohesive team? They dedicate time and effort to instilling these five key behaviors:

  1. Build TRUST with each other
  2. Engage in productive CONFLICT around ideas
  3. Drive COMMITMENT to the decisions they make
  4. Foster higher levels of ACCOUNTABILITY
  5. Focus on achieving shared RESULTS

The Foundations of Team Cohesion Experience

Dive into The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and learn what it takes to drive top team performance. This workshop will equip you to make your team the best it can be. (Bring your whole team for even greater results!)

Prior to the session, you will complete your Everything DiSC Workplace assessment. During our time together we will use our DiSC reports to examine how we influence TRUST, PRODUCTIVE CONFLICT, COMMITMENT, ACCOUNTABILITY, and RESULTS.

The workshop is designed around modern adult-learning principles, with segments devoted to:

  • Self-reflection
  • One-on-one dialogs
  • Tabletop discussions
  • Interactive group activities
  • Personal action planning

This event will equip you to contribute to building a more cohesive team by helping you understand both your own behavioral tendencies as well as the preferences and mindsets of others on your team. Our goal is to highlight and encourage actions that benefit the team while simultaneously limiting the unproductive behaviors that we all exhibit from time to time (whether we recognize it or not).

All sessions run 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

San Diego Humane Society has been working with Integris for more than two years and it's been a 110% positive experience. Nearly of our 600 staff members have completed Foundations of Team Cohesion and the impact on our culture has been nothing short of astonishing. We're lucky to have sent senior staff to an Integris event two and a half ago, and developed a partnership that I rarely see. I give Integris my highest recommendation possible.

An Innovative Approach for
Democratizing Team & Leadership Development

You may have noticed that the per person cost of this program is lower than similar programs you see advertised elsewhere. You may be asking yourself why. Well, I can tell you it's definitely NOT that we cut corners or skimped on quality. This is the same high-quality material, presented by the same seasoned professionals, as our standard corporate programs.

What's different is our approach to hosting these events. We've partnered with local clients to select the venues and fill the class roster. As a result, we are able to this world-class development program at a fraction of the normal cost.

WANT US TO COME TO YOUR CITY? If you have a team ready to participate and you have a meeting space you are willing to open up to participants from other organizations,  contact me and let's talk about it. I'd love to continue democratizing team and leadership development by bringing this powerful program to new locations!

Here's to making an IMPACT together,
