Leadership Tip: Develop Strong Relationships

ENABLE OTHERS TO ACT

Develop cooperative relationships with your colleagues.

Today’s Tip:

Identify two key relationships you believe will be important in your efforts to become a more effective leader. Invite those two colleagues to coffee or lunch. Explore the goals you each are working on and how you might be able to help each other succeed—even if your goals appear to be competing.

Food for Thought:

No one can do it alone. Success in most ventures requires a group effort. That’s why successful leaders invest in creating relationships based on trust and common goals.
