Leadership Tip: Leaders Recognize the Contributions of Others

Make it a point to let people know about your confidence in their abilities.

Today’s Tip:

In your next meeting, acknowledge anyone who has learned a new skill, tackled a problem, dealt effectively with a difficult client situation, or in some way made a contribution to furthering the group’s shared vision and objectives.

Food for Thought:

Leaders expect the best and inspire others with courage and hope. They recognize people’s contributions to the common vision. They make people feel valued and important.
