ENCOURAGE THE HEART

Praise people for a job well done.

Today’s Tip:

Give a handwritten thank-you note to someone who has helped you with a project or someone you’ve seen doing something that supports the group’s collective goals. Make this a daily habit (buying a pack of thank you cards and storing them at your desk will make it an easier task for you to complete).

Food for Thought:

What is praised and rewarded is often repeated. When you see high performance in action or someone making an extraordinary effort, remember to praise them for not only what they did but also why it was important and its impact on others.
