ENCOURAGE THE HEART
Give team members lots of appreciation and support for their contributions
Make saying “thank you” a natural part of your everyday behavior. Before your next meeting, think about what the team has accomplished since you last met and make it a point to open with a special show of appreciation. At the end of each day, sincerely thank those who work with you for what they have done that day.
Food for Thought:
Leaders don’t take anyone for granted. They are extremely generous with “thank yous” and “awesome job,” setting the example for others to follow.
