COMMIT TO DECISIONS
Support group decisions even if you initially disagree
Have a conversation with your team about the misconception that a commitment cannot be revisited after new information invalidates the wisdom of the initial decision.
Food for Thought:
Even when there is no certainty that a decision is correct, cohesive teams choose clarity over certainty. They unite behind a decision and fully support it at least until new facts surface that may lead the team to change direction. High-functioning teams avoid assumptions and ambiguity and drive for a clear understanding of what they’ve decided.
