FOSTER PRODUCTIVE CONFLICT
When conflict occurs, confront and deal with the issue before moving to another subject
Look for conflict. Draw out any potential unresolved issues on the team and force the team to confront them. Make sure the quieter people in the group know that their contributions are valued by asking them outright to share their opinions. Gently ask the more dominant personalities to make “airspace” for more introverted team members.
Food for Thought:
Teams are more successful when team members are willing to make one another uncomfortable at times, pushing each other outside of their comfort zones to ensure that all opinions and concerns are heard.
