Leadership Tip: Willingly Make Sacrifices for the Good of the Team

Willingly make sacrifices in your areas for the good of the team

Today’s Tip: Ensure the alignment of goals by making clear the linkage of top-level organizational objectives to team actions. When team members understand how the team’s objectives provide a context for other, broader goals, they are much more likely to stay focused on collective results rather than departmental or individual ones.

Food for Thought: Teams consistently achieve their objectives when individual ego and personal recognition take a back seat to their drive for collective team results.
