Challenge others to try out new and innovative ways to do their work.
Solicit input from your customers (consider both internal and external clients) on what you can do better to serve them. Assess what processes may need to change in order to improve. Challenge your team to come up with new ways to work differently and engage everyone in exploring what will—and won’t—work.
Food for Thought:
Leaders are constantly on the lookout for fresh approaches to getting the work done, for new processes to deliver value to customers. And they challenge everyone around them to do the same.
