Leadership Tip: Be Forward-looking

INSPIRE A SHARED VISION

Describe a compelling image of what the future could be like for you and your team

Today’s Tip:

Draft a personal vision statement. Seek constructive feedback by inviting colleagues to comment. Once you have your vision statement where you want it, share it freely with members of your team. Speak energetically about what the future holds for you and your colleagues.

Food for Thought:

Leaders are forward-looking. They see in their mind’s eye what is possible, and what the future could look like if everyone works together. Leaders make that vision come alive for others.
