Leaders set the example

Model the Way

Make certain that people adhere to agreed-on standards

Today’s Tip: Create a list of the standards you think are the most important for your team. Bring the list to your next meeting and engage the team in a discussion about group norms and principles.

Food for Thought: Leaders set the example by living the principles and values of the team. Leaders also routinely help others reflect on what they have done each day to act on those shared values.
