The longest journey begins with the first step

CHALLENGE THE PROCESS: Set achievable goals, make concrete plans, and establish measurable milestones

Today’s Tip: Consider your current projects and select one that isn’t progressing as well as you’d like. Review the desired end-state and find a way to restructure the project into smaller, more manageable steps. Set intermediate milestones that can be more easily achieved. Celebrate those small wins before proceeding to the next step.

Food for Thought: The longest journey begins with the first step. Are your project plans about the whole journey or about being successful each step of the way? Leaders know they have to break down big problems into small, doable actions to build confidence for bigger wins.
